The UK’s first & only completely natural protein infused waters 🔥🔥✌👈

Hey girls, I hope you all are going to stick to your new years resolution to get fit ? If so then you need to check out protein water!

Protein water Co is an award winning innovative British brand, which produces the UK first and only completely natural protein infused waters. Free from added sugar, artificial additives and preservatives. Which is fantastic for health orientated people, I despise artificial sweetners they cause a lot of health problems for a lot of people.

The muscle maintenance range delivers a mighty protein hit to support the whole body: 20g of protein in each bottle: over a third of the uk’s suggested intake. In 2016 protein water Co were awarded the best sports drink in the food bev media awards 🔥 was sent 2 drinks to test out which were the grapefruit and yuzu then the cranberry and raspberry. For those of you who have never heard of yuzu ( I never had heard of it 😂)  : Yuzu is a sour Japanese citrus fruit, used both for its juice and its aromatic rind. The yuzu (which is about the size of a tangerine) has an aroma and flavor that is distinct from any other citrus fruit, somewhat akin to a cross between grapefruit and lime.

To be honest I liked the cranberry and raspberry the best, it was such a surprise how strong the taste was. I assumed that it would be more of a diluted taste but it sort of just tastes like a normal fruit juice ✌🔥🔥

Every 500ml bottle combines the highest quality protein with spring water, delivering a clear taste with absolutely no nasties 👈

The protein water Co muscle maintenance range has an RRP of £2.35for a 500ml bottle and is availablein three varieties :

Grapefruit & Yuzu

Cranberry & Raspberry

Coconut & Mango

The range is available in Boots, Whole Foods Market, Fenwick,  Kettlebell Kitchen and independent retailers nationwide or directly from

Aveda – shampure composition oil review

Avedas composition oil is described as a calming aromatic oil for body, bath and scalp! Aveda gave me a 30ml sample and at first I thought it was a hair oil because the bottle said “shampure” on the front. It turns out to be a pretty cool multifunctional oil that’s smells lovely too. For me this oil smells like candy for some reason 😁

You can use this oil in the bath, just add a few drops in for relaxation. You can use it for a massage oil, add to your pillow to help you sleep 😏

There is also a fabulous oil in this product called meadow foam oil and if your interested in haircare you should look into this oil as it helps to condition your hair and scalp. So you can apply this product to your hair aswell. I would just note some people can be allergic to plant extracts so be careful !

Overall avedas shampure composition oil is a top quality product that can do exactly as it describes 😉 I would highly recommend this product to anyone out there 💖

Inside the world of fibromyalgia, Personal Insights, Treatments and Advice

Fibromyalgia is a long-term (chronic) condition that can cause widespread pain and tenderness over much of the body. It’s quite common – up to 1 person in every 25 may be affected, so that means everyone you talk to will have a friend or relative who has fibromyalgia !

1981 The first scientific study confirmed that symptoms and tender points could be found in the body.

1990 The American College of Rheumatology wrote the first set of guidelines to help diagnose fibromyalgia.

2005 The first guidelines for treating fibromyalgia pain were published by the American Pain Society.

2007 The first prescription medication was FDA-approved to manage fibromyalgia.

In 1880, American neurologist George William Beard coined the terms neurasthenia and myelasthenia to describe widespread pain along with fatigue and psychological disturbance. He believed the condition was caused by stress.

Fibrositis, coined in 1904 by British neurologist Sir William Gowers, is the one that stuck. The symptoms Gowers mentioned will look familiar to those with fibromyalgia:

  • spontaneous pain
  • sensitivity to pressure
  • fatigue
  • sleep disturbances
  • sensitivity to cold

Symptoms of fibromyalgia ( can range from mild to severe )

  • Inability to concentrate (called “fibro fog”)
  • Restless legs syndrome
  • feeling too hot or too cold – this is because you’re not able to regulate your body temperature properly.
  • Fibromyalgia can affect your sleep. You may often wake up tired, even when you’ve had plenty of sleep.
  • The pain could feel like:
    • an ache
    • a burning sensation
    • a sharp, stabbing pain

In some cases, having the condition can lead to depression. This is because fibromyalgia can be difficult to deal with, and low levels of certain hormones associated with the condition can make you prone to developing depression.

  • constantly feeling low
  • feeling hopeless and helpless
  • losing interest in the things you usually enjoy

Fibrositis continued to gain acceptance, even though doctors couldn’t agree on exactly what it was. In 1949, a chapter on the condition appeared in a well-regarded rheumatology text book called Arthritis and Allied Conditions. It read, “[T]here can no longer be any doubt concerning the existence of such a condition.” It mentioned several possible causes, including:

  • infection
  • traumatic or occupational
  • weather factors
  • psychological disturbance

Overlapping conditions include:

Overlapping conditions are different in each case of fibromyalgia but they are very important to keep a record of because they may give a clue as to the cause of the individuals condition, every cause is different for each individual and that’s why doctors approaches often fail because they aren’t looking at the individual as a unique person. They just treat illnesses with the same textbook drugs and therapies which can be very damaging to the individuals lack of vitamin B12 can wreak havoc in your body and make your FM symptoms worse. If you think you may have low vitamin B12 levels, be sure to ask your doctor to order a blood test to check your vitamin levels.

In 1997, researchers at Sweden’s Goteborg University’s Institute of Clinical Neuroscience surveyed 12 women who suffered from fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. All the women had higher than normal levels of a substance called homocysteine in their cerebrospinal fluid. They also suffered from low B12 levels. The Swedish researchers found a correlation between B12 deficiency and the high homocysteine levels.

“I’m riding the waves of life as they come. Don’t fight against the current just ride through the current”

“My symptoms are morning stiffness, joint pain, muscle spasms, nerve pain (shocking, itchy, creepy crawlies, numbness in certain areas) insomnia, anxiety, depression, extreme fatigue, TMJ and sometimes when I’m in a flare I feel as if my entire body is vibrating. That’s the only way I can explain it. I feel the vibration in my eyes and I can even hear the humming in my ears. I have tired every medication there is for nerve pain and fibromyalgia. The only one that has helped my pain and symptom was, Lyrica. I know many people hate it and claim it’s poison. But, it has reduced my nerve pain dramatically. I take Tramadol for pain, muscle relaxers as needed to relax my muscles and turmeric daily to control my inflammation. I also do an infusion treatment called Meyers Cocktail in my Rheumatologist office every 4 weeks.  It’s a mixture of different vitamins, b12, magnesium, calcium, etc. This treatment has helped with my morning stiffness, fatigue, joint pain, swelling and overall pain. Along with fibromyalgia I have server back issues, Herniations, building disc and ruptured disc. So, I am in the process of treatments for that. My back issues tend to flare up my fibro a lot. I’m trying to find my balance between work, home, kids & social time with adults (which I don’t have often)”

Michelle mentioned the mayers cocktail if you are interested in knowing more check out this website here :

“My advise to a fellow suffer is don’t give up. Keep trying different treatments and find what works for your body. Everyone is different and respond differently to medication, herbs & infusions treatments. Keep searching for the right doctors who are willing to listen and help you. Find what makes you happy and really focus on that, keep strong and remember that you are loved. This is going to be a bumpy ride but in the end, you can say you lived through it all. I’ve seen some really dark times and found myself in a place that I never want to be at again. I’ve realized that I will always be in pain and it’s never going to completely go away. I’ve accepted my illness and limitations and learned to adjust my life and live with them. I like to say, “I’m riding the waves of life as they come. Don’t fight against the current just ride through the current”. Once you’ve reach this place of content, you will feel a little lighter and learn to ride through your flares. Everyday is a learning curve.”

English handmade candle review

Glitzwood was offered a lovely candle in return for an honest review from

The candles are produced in the stunning south downs national park, the suppliers also make candles for well known stores!

Themes of candles available are sandalwood and cedar, lily of the valley and citrus fusion amonst others. You can also personalise your candle for occasions such as birthdays, weddings etc!

I am reviewing the lemongrass and verbena candle, and I must say I was surprised and delighted at the fragrance from this candle when it first arrived.

To be honest I cant make out the verbena fragrance much at all, but that`s because the lemongrass fragrance overpowers it. Lemongrass is one of my favorite fragrances in the world so not complaining. I felt this was a high quality product and would recommend anyone who loves candles to use the website!

Happiness is a choice?

“”Its easier to sit and sulk and live in the depression than it is to get up and get out but happiness is a choice and you deserve that choice so choose it for yourself”

I was at a concert when an artist said this to the audience and you could tell that it touched a lot of people throughout the crowd, Including myself. I just want to go into this quote a little deeper and acknowledge what it means. Is happiness really a choice or does it take more than that? For me, I believe it is both.

I believe that you can choose to start making yourself happy and that process will take time. You need to find the things that make you happiest in life and enjoy them as much as possible. It could be a person, a hobby, a sport, anything. I believe that we make…

Structure hair oil review + results pics !

Glitzwood was sent a hair product to try out ! smooths hock by structure hair. Didn’t really know what to expect because I’m totally new to the brand and I have been through a lot of hair products with having such long curly hair 😁

Smoothshoock is different to other hair oils I have tried because although it’s considered a nourishing oil product it comes along as foam which in my opinion is easily applied.

As you can see from the picture above the results are fantastic, smoothshock really is a hair product that lives up to what it says it does 😁 I was so impressed with the shine and softness of my hair after using this foam. There was also a wonderful effect of no frizz after I blow dried my hair. If you use smoothshock when your hair is damp before you blow dry you will feel a different in texture and your hair will be straighter, non frizzy and soft !

To get the look I had in the pictures I did use straightners after the blow dry but I had used smoothshock three times prior to this without using straightners and my hair was still more straight than usual. So it’s up to you how you would style your hair using this product, I know it’s called smoothshock food a reason but the fabulous effects can be used along with curling your hair or whatever you desired 😉

This product works 100 percent, as you can see the pictures don’t lie ☺

The only bone I need to pick with this product is that it didn’t specify how long you were to wait after applying the foam, I found that letting my damp hair sit for 5 minutes or so gave the best results !
